These terms govern your use of Numberdle at https://numberdle.com. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What Numberdle is

Numberdle is a free daily number-guessing game. Each day a hidden six-digit number is published to every player at the same moment, and you have eight guesses to find it. The site is provided for personal entertainment.

Eligibility

You may use Numberdle if you are at least 13 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Your licence to use the site

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Numberdle for your own non-commercial entertainment. All rights not expressly granted here are reserved.

Intellectual property

The site's name, design, text, puzzle logic, rarity system and code are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish or redistribute substantial parts of the site, or present them as your own, without our written permission. Sharing a screenshot of your result is welcome.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• access the site through automated means, including scrapers, bots or bulk requests, in a way that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
• interfere with, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or the services it relies on;
• use the site to break any law, or to infringe anyone else's rights;
• misrepresent your results, or present a modified copy of the site as the genuine Numberdle;
• remove or obscure any copyright or attribution notice.

We may block access where we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.

No accounts

Numberdle has no accounts, no login and no user profiles. There is nothing to register, and therefore nothing for you to delete from our side. Your game history is stored in your own browser.

Ads and third-party links

The site may display advertising served by third parties, and may link to third-party websites. We do not control those advertisers or sites and are not responsible for their content, products or practices. Any dealings you have with them are between you and them. Advertising is governed by the privacy policy above.

Availability and changes

The game is offered free of charge and, as explained on our about page, is run by one person. We aim to keep it running every day, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site, including the puzzle schedule and the rarity system, at any time and without notice.

The daily number, once published for a given date, is fixed; we do not change a past day's number to correct a result. We may however reset or recalculate technical data if a fault occurs.

Disclaimer of warranties

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or that any fault will be corrected. Puzzles, tips and statistical claims are provided for interest and entertainment and should not be relied on for any other purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the site. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to one US dollar. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of that place have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute — except that either party may seek relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, the "last updated" date at the top will change. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
